A different vision of water. Two families. One shared adventure.
At Novpool, we share one conviction: it is possible to rethink water care by drawing on the natural mechanisms that help keep it in balance.
Our story began when Edwin and Romain met: two entrepreneurs with complementary backgrounds. But it is also the story of two families who chose to bring together their experience, values and energy around a shared project.
Novpool was born from this human, family adventure, with one ambition: to make water care simpler, more enjoyable and more respectful of its natural balance.
2017It all began in Mexico, in 2017.
A lover of the sea and water sports, Edwin discovered Clean Water Tab® during a stay in Mexico.
At the time, the technology was being used in the large pools of Cancún’s resort hotels, where heavy use makes water quality a real challenge.
Convinced of its potential, Edwin began selling it online in France in 2018.
His commitment to water continued in 2020 with the creation of The Ocean Cleaner, a company dedicated to fighting ocean and river pollution, particularly the sargassum invasions in the Caribbean.
This experience strengthened one conviction: the natural mechanisms of water can inspire innovative solutions to better preserve its quality.
2023In 2023, a decisive meeting.
Romain, for his part, has worked in the pool industry for more than twenty years.
From a family of entrepreneurs, he built his expertise through several companies specialising in the construction, equipment and maintenance of pools and spas.
He knows what owners expect, as well as the day-to-day constraints professionals face.
In 2023, he discovered Clean Water Tab® and immediately saw the technology’s potential for his trade. He got in touch with Edwin.
Their experience was a natural fit: one knew the technology and what it could do, the other knew the pool market and the realities on the ground.
From this meeting, a shared ambition was born.
2024In 2024, Novpool was born.
In March 2024, Edwin and Romain joined forces to create Novpool.
But behind this company, there is much more than two partners: two families embarking together on a business and human adventure.
Each brings their experience, skills and energy to a project built on shared values: trust, innovation, closeness and respect for water.
Their ambition is to make Clean Water Tab® available to more pool and spa owners, relying in particular on a network of professionals who can advise them.
That same year, Clean Water Tab® won the Innovation Award at Piscine Global in Lyon. A recognition that marked a new chapter in Novpool’s development.
In tribute to Hervé Méry
A passion and values that continue to inspire us.
Hervé Méry, Romain’s father and vice-president of the Fédération des Professionnels de la Piscine (French pool industry federation), played an invaluable role in the Novpool adventure.
A man of passion and conviction, deeply devoted to his trade, he dedicated much of his energy to championing, supporting and advancing the profession.
Through his experience, generosity, advice and commitment, Hervé gave us an enormous amount and helped our family project grow.
His passing leaves a great void, but the values he passed on to us remain with us.
Today we continue this adventure determined to keep his commitment alive and to prove worthy of the trust he placed in us.
